Committed to Penticton for the next Three years

You may have noticed last week that the Penticton Herald posted an article in which members of City Council were asked if they would be running in the upcoming Provincial or Federal elections. It's an important question, because just over a year ago seven council members committed to representing our community for four years as a municipal representative. Anyone seeking and eventually winning a seat for these higher levels of government would trigger a by-election, costing the city upwards of $50,000.

I have been asked this question multiple times in the past few months. It's important for you to know that I am honoured to serve as a city councillor, which was a commitment of a four year term. I stand by that commitment and I want to thank the people of Penticton who put their trust in me last years election.
